About — David Browne

David was born in Liverpool and studied Fine Art at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Having worked in secondary, further and higher education as a lecturer and Director of Faculty he now divides his time between Ditchling, Sussex, UK and Palombara Sabina, Lazio Italy.

David’s recent work, drawings, prints and sculptures are largely a response to the surrounding Lazio landscape, the South Downs and his ongoing interests in terrain, repetition, abstraction and minimalism.
